Was bored on thursday night so i did some stripping! :insanity:

Was quite fun and made a mess as well, i couldn't find anywhere in Docaster that sold engine stands and i wasn't going Sheffield, so just did it on the foor! :lol:

Anyway, when i started it looked like this!

And now it looks like this!

Head stripped down bar the valves, the spring compressor i have is the wrong type!

Bare block

Pistons, big ends etc, all bagged and labeled up!

Looks like some moisture has got in to #3 and has caused a bit of surface rust so i shall take it to a local specialist to see what they say i should do! :cry:

2 boxes full of bits, like crank, cam, pistons, bolts, sensors etc etc!

I seem to have an oil leak! :insanity:

Not bad for an evenings work!

The Rallye is getting Supercharged :insanity:

This is why i stripped down the spare engine as above, as my aim is to rebuild it to a higher spec.

*Low comp Forged pistons oversized 0.3mm, this is so the block can be bored out to remove any scaring etc but in my case the rust in #3.

*Forged Rods with Arp bolts

* lightened and balance Crank

* Head Ported, polished throats opened up, stronger valve springs and bigger valves fitted.

* Fit the Newman cam with a vernier pulley

*Replace all sensors with new OE where possible ones

* Fit New water pump

* Intercooler to drop intake air temp

*Oil cooler for the engine

*oil cooler for the SC traction oil

*Have a gearbox rebuilt and a ATB LSD fitted.

*Use the S1 rallye inlet as that has a better plenium chamber than the plastic S2 one!

*Get all the bo0st pipes made up

Plus other bits like find a clutch to cope with the power etc, fit the MF2 and map it!

A nice FMIC, will fit nicely Behind the bottom grille, nicely hidden to keep it looking standard (sleeper

)

Oh and i may be purchasing some of these wheels, 14" Nimrods off a 206 (in white of course) wrapped in Toyo T1-s (hmmmmm grip :drool:

)
