Cheers for your positive comments people

It seems very split about the wheels, I think i'm tipping on the side of changing them to black for a more subtle look, If they look rubbish it's not too hard to change them back :insanity:

I cant work on stripping the mondeo until next week but I was having a think about the ECU needed and...

Is this anything to do with External PATS or is is just related to the coil pack or something else entirely

Does the fact that it's an automatic mean that the ECU is going to be wrong anyway?

Oh and will it run on the 1.6 ECU temporarily?

no idea.. just look at the codeo n the ECU (drivers side footwell)

if its not DESK/DWEY/DEEP on the code it wont work..

and yes it will work on the 1.6 ecu for a while

the only thing that you have to worry about is the cps thats it all the other bits are the same so is the ecu 8-)

dont just change the crank position sensor change its housing aswell

Alright then, from looking at the guides the ECU is not likely to be of use but i'll have to wait and see.

im sure that last pic is something to do with the coil pac

i was let to beleive that it only work with, desk/deep/dewy ecu's, could be wrong though
