does it have petrol in the tank?

well the battery isnt dead as all lights and radio come on. you can hear it trying to start as if on a cold morning, but just doesnt kick in...i will try all things suggested and let ya know.

ah.. so it turns over ok then?

next point of call would be check your getting fuel and a spark

For starters, can you still hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the ignition on?

Take you plugs out and have a look at them to make sure they're ok, and make sure the leads go back in properly.

Whack the starter motor with a hammer!!

to check sspark.. take out the plug and lead.. pyut them beck together and touch the tip of the plug on your cam cover.. should get a contstant pattern of sparking from it

then try the next one and one after etc

to check your getting fuel.. tru turning it over a few times.. this should get some fuel in the bores.. take a plug out and should b able to smell petrol when you take it out

after my dad had a go, it worked...so everything is fine and brilliant...not sure what it was, but is good as ever...
