Thanks for the advise.

Got it started last night with a battery booster. The alternator is charging fine (the battery was reading 15v when running) but something is draining it, I checked and the boot light is definatley off.

Gonna charge it to the max by going for a drive at the weekend then see how long it lasts before going flat again. May have be a loose wire to the stereo or something....................................

If you have a test meter of can get your hands on one, the all you do is see what voltage is at the battery when the engine is running. When running properly the alternator should be kicking out 13.5V - 15V, if not then the alternator may be goosed or the connections may need a good clean.
