rite well now i have 2litre in the si it has running issues !

it doesnt run at all!

if i try and start it ! it will jst turn ova and ova but wont fire up at all

it cant be spark plugs/ht leads/ coil pack as these were all working

but if i try starting it wit fuse for the fuel pump still in that will happen but if i remove the fuse the engine it try nd start nd will actually start to run before shortly cutting out

could this possibly be the timing on the engine or wat ?

as someone i kno thats a mechanic had a listen to engine while i tried to start it and he said that it sounds like the engine is tryin to fire whilst piston is at bottom of the bore

well i did the timim myself when i fitted cambelt and thought i did it right ! but obviously not if this is case ?


could someone else shed and light ?

rite ive had look at engine im gettin fuel and spark ! its not immobliser as i used the red key

fuel cut off shouldnt go unless have accident ! looked at timim and looks like cams in right place but not the piston !

well turn your crank so the pistons is at TDC then re-setup the cams to match...
