started stripping the engine today, aswell as makeing gauge pods.

stripping most of it down making sure its going to be ok before fitting all the new bit's i.e. TURBO

been a bit side tracked at tho mo, fitting new bushes to rear beam as the current ones have well gone really but got the wrong ones so have to wait till my day off to get back up to ford.
when i had the wheels off noticed that i had like 1mm of pad left and the disc's where scored baddly so had to order all new pads and disc's, grooved drilled and vented with omp fast road pads for front and standed disc at rear with fast road pads on rear.
a lot of hoping i have ordered the right brakes due to not doing the conversion on the rear and the brake upgrade on front, im not sure if i have ordered them right only one way to find out tho !!!

How long do you think it will take you to finish the project?

I'm tempted to give it ago myself, but not sure if I would be able to handle it lol

i would love to get it in for ford fair thats my aim but im like 98% sure it wont be done for then. its fitting it and getting it running im going to struggle with so any help guys would be greatful fitting an engine on the FSI stand at FF

ill post up pic's as i do it to help anyone out, but im prob not the best to do that.

fitted the new pads and disc's on tues night...

Note to every one dont change all pads and disc front and back at the same time!!!! cleaned the oil they put on the disc with brake cleaner and i still have no brakes!!!!
starting to bed in now tho that or im just getting used to braking a mile before i ned to stop!!!
