hi i installed a subwoofer today now its i dentical to my old 1 so is my amp but wen i turn the head unit on the subwoofer plays all noises for example when a track is changed the subwoofer makes a sqeeling noise and when the ignition is on and the fuel pump pumps fuel it picks the noise up and its really annying any clues to fix it appreciated

sounds like a problem with the amp. it did this in my old car twice. once was the amp something had blow inside that made it pic up all the electric sounds from the car and sent the sounds through the sub+ wen i drove i could hear the sound of my car revin. 2nd time was actually my stereo same porblem. a component had gone inside it. try a diff amp or headunit and see if it still does it. only other thing it could be is theres something on the car that stops interferance to radios and tvs unlike bloody mopeds thet bugger freeview boxes up wen they drive past your house lol

by the sounds of it lol its interference have you got your amp wires away from all car wires? and the power cable away from the phono and information cable?

but if you want a quick fix put in a supresser on one of the cables cant remember wutch one though
