hi just bit confused with the 2litre

i was reading few posts and as what i understand is tht the 1.6 inlet manifold is little restricitve on the 2litre

so i would need rs1800 to fit alot better ???? as i am struggling to find this are there an other inlet manifolds with the same size holes ! (ports ) tht i could use instead !

u can use an escort or orion 1.8 manifold but try to getthe 130bhp version as these are the best

you could also use the

2.0 focus inlet, need some modification to some wiring or something
1.8 inlet off the 1.8 xr2i
1.8 inlet off the rs1800/xr3i
1.6 inlet even if it is restrictive


*lol* i have one sat here in my room as well and rs1800 one :p

I was told the other day that a 2.0 litre inlet manifold will fit, but will be a squeeze agasint the bulkhead, am I right in assuming he is wrong lol?

no the 2.0 mondeo inlet does not fit, it hits the bulkhead, the 2.0 focus manifold is the only 2.0 inlet that we know of that fits straight on

but you have to modify somw wiring to get it to work correctly
