erm yea he bonnet is like darker than rest of the car its shade is little darker but the rest of the car is Dark aubergine


and looking around theres not many of me on the forum lol


erm yea i posted the wanted ad as i want to lower it just cant afford the price of a new kit

well since the last post i made the only mods i have done is fit a decat pipe well tbh its nt really a decat its just hollowed out fiesta cat (oh the trouble that i had tryin to find the springs needed to fit )

but i find that this seems to rattle when accelerating and i dont really like tht noise it makes and i dont really notice the difference so i may refit the old cat

also i have a cheap savage 4inch slash cut jap box its hardl noticable sits up against bumper. and as i was cheap i brought universal one so i needed to get grinder out and cut old si backbox pipe of so that i could mount new one


also as phil ! on here is garaging his si now hes sellin his scooby vented bonnet ! im hopefully gonna get that aswell


nice to hear ppls views on wat i done also let me know if u have noticeable effects frm decat. would i benefit frm straight pipe rather than the hollowed cat!

also wat do ppl reckon to phils scooby bonnet ! would it look nice on my car .

Phils bonnet, is of real high standard, not some cheap thing thats glued on, its the real deal, smoothed in and is a working vent!

De-cats are bad for the environment anyway! [lol]

i know i am but its coming to end soon anyway! as they keep saying !

i saw another si owner the otha day his car looked really smart i drove past him and he tooted me !!! i was like yea si respect ! lol but after looking at his highly modified car i wasnt really a fan of the huge spoiler he had on his bootlid lol

also he had chrome tinted glass dunno wasnt really sure but otha than that it looked lovely !

well this is only small update but its something ! painted calipers a red colour ! i used hammerite paint to metal ! as halfords had stopped sellin there red caliper paint and this hammerite was half the price lol !

oh well i painted them prepped and put two coats on. i may do more in a few weeks after paint has settled for while !

also while i had the wire brush bit on the drill i quickly went ova the dirty cam cover and wow ! it looks all shiny and new ! hopefullly will continue this red theme into engine bay!

also wats peoples opinion on colour painted rear roll bars nd beams ect

Why did you paint the centre of the drums, you can't see it when the wheels on?!?!

Hammarite will be fine thats what i used on mine!

just thought paint whole lot ! lol didnt think that it was tht much more work to paint tht extra area!


would that hammerite paint be good on cam covers or would i be best buying some caliper spray paint for cam cover becos of temperatures ?
