Hi ppl

Need some advice AGAIN lol

I posted in the technical problems section about my fezza chugging.

Well I finally had enough of this and thought that the water pump had gone as the car was over heating! After some time I thought that this would be a perfect opportunity to get the chugging sorted too!!!!

Oh how I wish I never did lol

After calling on a mechanic to come round and have a look he found out that the head gasket has gone on the car which is why I was leaking water so the water pump had never gone in the first place!

He gave me a price which was between £250 to £400 (more like £300) how ever the thing that worries me is that he made it quite clear that I could pay the labour charges to take the head off and change the gasket for him to then find that the head in now warped and there for the car being completely fooked !

So I come to u ppl lol what do I do ?

Do I bother trying to fix it or do I give up now and try to sell it or break it?

The car is dark aubergine so it’s a really nice colour and there isn’t a lot of them left and it is in gd condition bar the scuff on the back bumper !!!

So ppl is it worth fixing or should I walk away ??? and is I was to break it would any1 be interested in any of the parts???? Its got to go within a month tho that’s the problem so I don’t really want to break it!!!! Or is any1 interested in buying the car for a project just pm!!

jus another lil update i managed to find a mechanic to carry out the work for me its going off 2nite and should get my lil fezza bac middle of next week some time!

gna cost me £320 to get all the work and parts done this also includes a reconditioned head so the si's future is bright!

wat do ppl think bout the cost ?
