my m8 has a 306 and is probably looking to sell me his old alloys, would they fit my si? i no both cars have the same 4x108pcd but not sure about the bore or offset :s can you help?

Yes they will fit but will stick out i little, does looks cool but if they stick out to much you'll fail you MOT etc

Edit: im unsure of the extra stress thats put on the bearings!

mouse- the entire hub, including the bit where the shock sits in
and also the circular bit with the studs in it. So i didnt need to
change the bearing seperatly, as it is integral to the hub.

The suspension set up has been designed for a specific offset,
all I know is that mine handled like a boat when I had wheels with
an incorrect offset.

Just what Ive been taught, I wouldn't do it if I were you but
it's obviously completely your decision.
