any ideas or tips anyone lol

not sure why but just recently when i turn corners (left &right) there are stiff spots in the steering on the 1.1. (as in stiff then loose then stiff then loose)

its got worse today started about a week ago but wasnt that bad

only happens when moving - when the car is parked steering is normal with engine on & off(it locks)

tends to die down & return to normal if i drive around for ages but when i 1st leave anywhere it must look like i cant drive properly lol

Before you go spending loads, get your power steering fluid changed. May be an air lock in there somewhere? But that'll be your first and cheapest option.

coudl also be the UJ (universal joint)

might need greasing up, as its a common problem on fiestas

u used WD40 on mine when it started to stick and never had any trouble again :)

drivers footwell just follow the steering column

and then the same place in the engine bay :)

the drums off luckily was one of them cylinders in the dum just popped out. cleaned everything and pushed it back in, filled it, left it for a while and no leak :)

do need new brake shoes though part of one is just metal lol would explain grinding noise i hear :)
