Right my plan is too get another car to run around in.

Then strip mine down a bit.
New, front wings, front panel, RST bonnet, Smooth boot, ZS bumper. Maybe new back arches.

This is the pic from on ebay. Exactly how i bought it. I think i bought it may 2006.

First off i got some wheels and Clear lights from my mate that scrapped his 2i

MOT time it needed a new sill and brake pads which where done.

Had some stupid exhaust on it as well:



Was only one for a few days. 1. it was crap, 2. It looked shite 3. it looked and sounded better with the standard exhaust.

Also got some 2i arches off him and front bumper. Only fitted the bumper as mine had been bodged on. big time



Then in Oct 06 I bought a 1.8 engine with rs cames in. Put that in. Went like a rocket.

Then lowered and stiffened it with a gmax kit. Eventually i replaced the knackered wishbones and it made a hell of a difference to handling.

Got some drilled and grooved discs too from my work for cheap which really help on the braking side of things.

RR day made 122bhp with loadsa torque.

Gearbox died. So try to get ERST one but got ripped of with a deisel one and only jus got my money back.

Somewhere around here i rembered making it decat. Sounds nice now, not to loud either.

Got a decent ERST box, ratios perfect with bonus of LSD.

Finally sprayed arches and got a SI bumper again.

Then engine started pissing oil from crankseal. Got hold of another proper 130 spec engine on ebay. This ones got 130 spec inlet and injectors so not sure on BHP.

Thats the main parts i think. All work has been done by myself. Aprt from sill.

Not to sure on the order ive done things, like engine, then suspension and brakes but well thats me really.

And why a 1.8 and not 2.0? Well everyone does 2.0 conversions. I just want to be different and and i got about the same as a few 2.0 on the RR day!

I think other sill mite need replacing. Mite do the back wings too. seems as it looks like its coming through.

Tommorrow Seats are coming out so i take the carpet up to check there

Still using it too get to work atm, but as soon as ive got another car the wings will be off next.



RST bonnet and Smooth boot that will meet UJM in time.

R.I.P M190 THK Fiesta Si Turbo

Stripped the seats and carpet out, after work. Will get some pics tomoz, to dark now.

Nice and clean, found about 3 quid under the carpet. (god knows how it got there)

Also Looks like its on stilts now as theres no weight in it!

Rad fan is back on auto now after i repaired some crappy wiring.

Need to get a 16v C/L + E/W loom and get switches in the right place. Instead of centre console.

Also will the loom plug straight into the SI wiring loom?

Got my run around car:

5 door ghia, c/l, e/w, heated screen, boot release, alloys, few months mot and tax for 100 quid. slow as shit compared to the Si but it does its job. Heres a few pics of both cars:
