in 2 and a half years of driving i've only ever had 1 m.o.t, due to selling / buying etc,
bought my first car with 12months mot, when i got round to m.o.t'ing it it failed miserabley on welding and a brake cylinder....
shortly after i bought my current car (si) with 12months m.o.t,
and today it's test time!
i've saved a good wedge in the bank account so im predicting the worse

it won't need any welding though so should be cheap!
let you know how it goes then i guess!

it did ok, expense wise im happy...
it's got me thinking though, the other side brake line looks abit old/dirty/rusty? aswell, might try and do that some time, although it involves bleeding the bloody brakes......
as for improvement on braking, yeah seems fine now, not much difference tbh, the only difference i'd notice is the rear cylinder, as i didn't drive it with the brake line popped
although - when touching the brakes at 60 plus it doesn't wobble any more, seems more sturdy!

You can still do the 13 month thing with the new system because all it does it just tag it onto the end of your old one automatically. I do it a lot with cars i buy and sell.
