hi wondering if anyone can help, my fiesta si (m reg) constantly rattles and makes a knocking noise, which can only be heard on the inside of the car, also the car skips when i go round corners, which is not as bad when someone else is in the car, wishbone and cv joints have been replaced, it has been on a shaker ramp in a garage and nothing visible is loose, please help, heard it could be something to do with the gearbox, changed off side driveshaft

mine makes alot of noises when driving and i have nothing wrong either

maybe its just cos they are getting old

or im sure someone else may have a view on this

could be! i had a driveshaft fitted by a garage on my old 205, it knocked and rattled worse than it ever did. i hardly trust any garages, some have very poor workmanship.

you fezwill rattle inside but if the outside bothers you why not take it to a garage to let them look?

chances are its something that can be easily rectified.

when you saythe car is "skipping" do you mean handling wise or the engine is juddering?

Have you checked your drop links, anti roll bar bushes, track rods, track rod ends as any one of them can cause a knocking or rattle and it won't immediately show anything as being wrong
