i gotta update on getting the mk2 through MOT

my mate spent a lot time and hard work 2day sorting out the major rust on the mk2 2day

once the carpet was lifted .... oh dear was a lot worse than we first thought

the rot was bad but i decided to let my mate go ahead with the job, so save the mk2 from doom

a large bit rust from a mk2, bid on ebay if u want lol

after a lot of welding in side the car

since pics we painted the sills and floor with hammerite and underseal just waiting for them to dry now

then just got to sort rust hole under the bonnet 2 ball joints and 2 wheel bearings

so should b back on the roads next week!

howdy! 2day ive been busy i got the mk2 re mot'd 2day and it went through!

altho the dam nearside damper is leaking, but its not a problem still got the cars originals on jams xr2

and also as the Si is off the road now, i decided to give it a massive wheels off clean

i used a pressure washer and a sponge to get rid of as much dirt and grit from under the arches as possible

just wanna get a nice cover for it to keep the dust away from it while its being stored in the garage

i also cleaned out the inside, ive taken the cd player out as i'm saving for one of these

took me a long time but it had to done

and i still can't decide whether or want to go 2.1 turbo now or just 2.0 n/a as of course i want it turbo'd it will just take ages to get the money together and its only been off the road for 2 weeks and i already miss driving it
