R.I.P M190 THK Fiesta Si Turbo

Since we're now back online ill stick this in here too.

When i got the engine in before it wasnt running quite right, had a funny idle and was underpowered, about the same as an Escort 1.8 So after trying a few things i checked the cam timing and it was still out a tiny bit, so i sorted that and put a new MAF on and it ran perfectly

This was done the evening before the RR day. Next day i popped a long and it made 122.2bhp as you probobly know, which i think is decent considering its still running standard airbox and exhaust manifold/cat. As you can see from the printout the torque is pretty good to with a pretty much straight line across the rev range. The operator commented on the dip at around 3.5k and said its possibly the old 1.6 manifold and cat restricting it so im on the look out for a good 4-1.



I painted the rocker cover too to make it a bit prettier and tidied the bay up a bit



Gave it a good wash today and went for a drive. I got a bit carried away though and it started raining too so its not overly clean in the pics









Plans are a 4-1, and i want some Area six lower arms but with polybushes since the polybushe in my arms have now destroyed themselves and are knocking like a cunt. I would like to get it corner weighted and set up properly some time too.

As said the discs are 280mm, and a more suitable offset then cossie ones for running on a Fiesta.

Mattyboy- Yeah thats sorted, it kind of fixed itself. I put some radweld in it just in case but ive had nothing more leaking from it so thats all good.
