Iv allways wanted to build an engine myself so i thort i mite aswell build one that will go into my car.

So after i bit of thinking im going to be building a zvh, thort about a low comp 1600cvh or a 1900cvh tall block or even a full zetec turbo but the zvh seems to fairly cheap and put out good power.

Picked up a 2.0l bottom end the other day from andy(andyleesy) for a bargain 20 quid thanks again mate!
Its going to be sort of a side project because have lots of things that the car needs still but should all be started next few weeks hopfully

The spec is still a bit undersided but im going to be using c20let pistons.
Want to try for about 250bhp

Let you all know when i have an update

JJ:- I dont know why but just dont fancy a full ZT, dont think it would be that much more to build but with a zvh i could allways put a 16v head on at a later date if i change my mind.

The block has been striped down now so will try and get some photos up at some point.

C20 LET pistons with a CVH head will give you a far too-low compression ratio.. you need to use the XE pistons for a Ze-VH.. Personally I think you're mad for not doing a 16v engine as the CVH head is pure cack and the zetec head is great..
