right i wasb't sure where to stick this so i thought i would put a post here for all the power graphs and for people to list their mods 8-)

Unknown milage.
1.8 engine.
RS head + cams
1.8 2i inlet
2.0 TB + Maf housing
Decat , standard exhaust otherwise.
EGR removed.
1.8 mondy ecu + MAF
PiperX induction.

Anyone explain how i have quite a fair bit of torque for a 1.8?

your graph is similar to mine james

i have done the colours according to the colours of the lines on the graph, except for the black one

the engine power is what the engine made at the fly wheel

wheel power is what the power is at the wheels

drag power is the transmission loss, power lost from the gearbox i think

max power is the rmp at which max power is reached

torque is the torque
:lol: :lol:


max torque at rpm is the rpm that maximum torque is reached

hope that helps explain it abit better, if i am wrong with anything couls someone correct me

a usual rule is more power = more power loss through transmission.. as the box etc will still have the same amount of drag equaling a percentage

if i were to put a 2.0 in then im sure the % of power loss would still be the same
