Sent in a few crappy pics months ago and got told it was in this months fast ford which was quite unexpected as i never heard anything back!

Oh and ill be updating my 2ltr conversion thread this week! It has been on hold due to the stupid DVLA people lol! Thankfully after having 3 dvla inspectors round inspecting every nut and cranny of it and 2 weeks of being on pins worrying if my car was going to crushed it is all ok and i can carry on! Thank god! I thought it was going to be taken away and crushed!

Well basically what happend is .... (cutting a long story short)

When i went to meet the seller to collect the car back in May 2006 he didnt bring the log book because "he forgot it" so he assured me he would send it the next day....


I rang him a few times to try and get him to send the logbook but he never did so in the end i just applied for my own logbook from the DVLA which was fine but when i went to DVLA offive 2 weeks ago to swap my persnolised plate from my old si on to my new one they could do it because there was 2 log books issued to the number plate!! So it sounded as if either my car or this other car which has the logbook for it was a ringer or cloned car or something! Anyway they came round and still couldnt get exact identification from my car which worried me even more!

In the end it turns out that the seller applied for a log book and by the time it was sent to his house he had moved house! So whoever moved to that house got the Tax renewal letter off the DVLA and rather than phone up and say it belonged to previous owner of house they declared it SORN!!! Bloody idiot-s! I was so worried and depressed for the whole time this went on because i thought i was going to lose my car! Would have been even worse on it because ive just spent loads of money and time on it over last month or so! Oh well at least its all turne out ok !

Hopefully will have the 2ltr in it by Friday along with some other goodies ive been buying! Fingers crossed ey! :)
