well peeps im new on this site.
i need some info on my 1.6 zetec ghia l reg.
its basically the same as a si so what i need to know is whats the best setup for my car to give it the most power but so its gonna run right and not be stupid on fuel.
i have the following parts;
1.8 zetec bottom end
2.0l zetec bottom end
1.8 head
130 cams
2.0l mondeo cams
130 ecu and loom
2.0l ecu
130 spec inlet complete

i was thinking making the engine a 2.0l rs1800 engine with the egr removed and with the 2.0l management.
do you think this is the best option?
it will be slightly higher compression due to the 1.8 head but not alot tho

full 2.0 egr removed, rs1800 inlet 2.0 ecu should be good mor torque than a 1.8 aswell

Drives:
2.0 cams have the same profile as 130ps cams IIRC

Oh, and the 2.0 and 1.8 heads are the same
so using either will be fine.

Just build a 2.0, using 2.0 cams, T/B, MAF, ECU, but use RS1800 inlet and a decent exhaust system
