What have people got or recommend?

I am looking into getting some, as i dont want to get stuck on an hard shoulder somewhere.

I basically want them to try and fix it if possible, and if they can't take me and the car home, and dont really want them to arrange a local garage to get repaired.

Also is it best to get the cover on me (personal) or put it on my car?

Im with the RAC as i got discount with FCGB, used it on monday, really pleased with the service, the person coming to you rings you 10mins before they arrive to let you know! 8-)

i have halfords breakdown £1 for 3 months then £16 for the rest of the year :) they nicely trailored my 2.0 home to bognor when i blew the h.g in southampton, but they wouldn't come out when i ran out of petrol as that was a "non mechanical fault" :lol: :lol:

RAC have never let me down - got all the trimmings as people have said. Onward journey etc which will take me and the car to wherever I want. Plus the cover is for me, not the car - so I can be in any car and they will come and sort it. :)

a while back when cars weren't as reliable as they are now my parents had issues with RAC, they limit the amount of times you can call them out.

I'm with CSMA/brittania Rescue. very good service. they use local recovery companies.
I'm on first name terms with my local recovery unit :lol:
