What suspensions brands are any good, looking at upto £400 for a shocker and spring set! Are there any out there that you guys would recomend, not gmax tho they're terrible as they rattle their asses off!

Get Spax or Koni adjustables. Coilovers are overkill for the road. You'll need to have them set up properly to get the full benefit and you say you're pushing the boat out as it is! :) Damping adjustment is ideal for the road.

I've had no problems with the gmax on mine.
But i'd go for something a little more 'upmarket'
like spax, heard they are good ;)

Coilovers wouldnt waste my money on anything else !

ive got gmax at the moment there not as bad as everyone makes them out to be just a good cheap alternative !!

the main reason i'm going for coilovers is that i want the car to sit level from a side on view and if i can i want to go lower than 60mm say 70mm- 75mm :)
