running a bit funny, went to work, thought i'd try it out:

97 in a 70, 51 in a 30 and talking on a mobile phone! :insanity:

doh!

nil points mind! i was in uniform and i said i was rushing to save people.

i got a £30 fine for the mobile and a section 59 for driving like a d1ck, meaning if i get pulled in the next year the car gets taken away and maybe crushed! :lol:

Section 59's - wonderfull things - NOT

I got caught going a bit fast ( :look: ) past a police car at 1am and he pulled me - I was thinking -" noooo cant afford to get any points on my license because ive only been driving since Dec 05. Anyway he didnt give me any points - probably because he couldnt prove i was speeding. So at the time i thought great ive gotten away with this one! :devil:

BUT

a few months later i was driving along and a black Vauxhall Vectra was behind me - right up my arse - so i put my accelerated a little bit - not much, was now doing about 40 in a 30. After about a minute of this i hear sirens, "Where could they be coming from?! :| "

Sure enough as i looked in the mirror there were blue flashing lights in the grille and the headlamps were flashing - SH*T

Anyway to cut a long story short - he gave me 3 points and a 60 pound fine AND :x The second section 59 - which saw my car towed away infront of my very eyes - £120 to get it back.

Anyway i thought it was incredibly unfair to give me both at once!

Especially since on my walk home from there he pulled a girl i know for doing 70mph - no seatbelt - and on a mobile phone (she has a TT) -- Saw her in the pub later on that day - She got a £30 fine for her illeagle number plates and THATS ALL!!! :x :x

Women twinkle their eyelashes and maybe more! haha and get away with it! I was fuming! ( Oh and SKINT)

section 59's overrated they like to remind you now every time they pull you that you have one against the car.. its also only agains the car NOT yourself...

they can only give them to you if your driving like a tool... not speeding..

speeding is under a different section

i got one for being parked the other side of a pavement on some grass years ago :lol:

wakeboardtom: you should have a numberplate light as a leagal requirement anyways if youve re-located it you should have done that at the same time... tis your own fault in a way.

i just thought a section 59 was a slap on the wrists and a bit of an old wives tale like "dont drive like a loon or your car will be crushed sunny!".

:lol:

cracks me up, because apparently i've been given two ?

One by a piggy on a push bike - drove over a painted roundabout - shock horror, and the second for using a bus lane - if taxis can, why cant i.

so yeah my cars still not been crushed :lol:
