Hey Guys, So ive got my car.
Got it serviced and its running sweet! Bit of a change from my girlfriends ST but hey its mine! Need help tho.... Boot release doesnt work any clues?? And theres a knock from undercar when go ova small bumps in road real annoying....4 Different mechanics all confused!! Any help much appreciated

boot release could be a number of things... are the contact pins clean? How about the earth? also the switch could be faulty and so could the solenoid... Trial and error..

as for the knocking... I would suggest you check your top suspension nuts at first. Move on to such things as check all the bushes, for wear and excess movement. Final thing i would check is the top suspension rubber, as this can cause excess movement on the strut...

If its not the rubbers on the wishbones making it nock, try the Anti roll bar link arms, It was more of a creeking on mine but its worth looking at

Not really sure, thought it was the front drivers side. But seems to move around! Sounds like the exhaust knocking but thats been checked and doesnt move! Was thinking may gear linkage???

Went to ford 2day to try and get a new door lock cos couldnt unlock mine. Managed to get a new key instead and that works. Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£20 for key and programmed! Lovely!
Asked about the knocking under my car and the guy wanted Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£60 to look at it! Or as he put it "Diagnose the problem" fink ill be leaving it!!
