I've just been out checking everythings fine with car, went for a little drive, nothing serious. noticed a few traffic cars parked up near local football 'stadium', initially thought they'd been a bump. got closer and i got waved in. it was for one of those roadside checks, Officer was very polite, checked things were ok and sent me on my way. a very good idea if you ask me. should hopefully cut down on drink drivers and little boys with their unroadworthy cars

the clue is in the name, FOGlights. if visibility is fine, don't use them. it aint big and it ain't clever. :lol:

they can dazzle if it's raining etc. and sometimes they arent the factory fitted one's they are one's that barry has attached to his car because they look 'ace'.

I know what the purpose of them is thanks, but I still don't get what the fuss is all about. I dont drive with them on, dont get me wrong (the Pulsar hasn't got any for starters), I just don't see the point of people posting up all the time slating people if they happen to have a pic of their fogs on :lol:

It's a bit daft really!

I'm sure the person knows they shouldn't have them on, but more fool them if they get caught.

Something that's even more dangerous, like bald tyres, or dodgy brakes - people drive around with that kind of stuff affecting their car, yet I dont see people going round giving evils to people like that. Yes, I knooooooooow it's not as in your face, but these are things that are a hell of a lot more dangerous!

Either way, doesn't bother me on the road because I don't see them as being much brighter than normal headlights

Yeah, I know what you're saying too, but I dont think it's such a big deal as people make out.

There's a lot worse out there though. And anyways, with all these spot checks going on, hopefully people who shouldnt be on the road will get done!
