Bodyshop UK(Doncaster) Sore them in PF 'specialist' section, took my car there heard no problems before i went.
They had my car for a month!! Looked good for the 1st week nice and shiney, but then the paint work dulled noticed 'scratches' in the filler which come through in the paint, roof was not sprayed (full re-spray?! even says on my recipit spray whole car!) Bonnet is as dull as watching the whole series' of changing rooms back to back! Impossible to polish as its too rough and the polish just sits in the small dimples!

Was told to take the car back after a few weeks to sort any problems out, so i took it back the day before i go on holiday, as i thought it will cause less of an in-conviniance (sp?) to me and it gave them 2 weeks to sort out! I then set of to my nana's in manchester and get a phone call saying, sorry we can't do t this week or next! So i have to Ring Jd to collect and store my car whilst on holiday!

But since i have taken my car there i have heard so many horror stories about them! Why the hell did they not speak up before!

Not taken it back since cant be arsed and to be honist i dont want them to fubar it up even more!

Cue JD with his horror story about Bodyshop UK

one of mates had a ding in his, insurance sent it to bodyshopUK for repairs. it was a fairly mint mk2 xr2. they took rivets out for arch extensions and re-fitted it with...nice shiny woodscrews. he was furious.

i got the pas pump replaced on the si when it was a 1.6, drove it up the road and it stalled, hmmmmmm, temps OVER the red,

the garage didnt fill up the header tank after they'd drained system

filled her up with evian from the offie, fine after that. spoke to the bloke at the garage he said he'd fix whatever was broken,. nothing was.....then i got the 2.0 in.

havnt had any bad run in with garages but the pickup at work had new tyres put on it on one side (puncrure reallt bad side wall dead) and we were going along main road at 50 when all of a sudden back end dropped and we started to go sideways skidded along road and anded up on the hard shoulder about 300m down the road from where the wheels fell off luckilly nothing was coming other way other wise they wouyld have wheel embedeb in the front of there car to make matters worse we had two pallets of roof tiles in the back

not me coz i work on my car but this one i was way too bizy to get it done my very good lady friend (not girl friend) went to tanvic in loughborough (witch i told her not to coz there sh with the it :lol:

) it went in for a leaky pipe coz the break fluid kept on going down,
they changed the master cylinder even though i toled them what the problem was,
then when they couldnt get the clutch pedal to work properly so only then they found the leaky pipe in the end all in all they charged her 200 quid for doing it all so i went totaly ape at them (iv never lost it before on the phone) but this time coz i told them the problem i went mental :lol:

but i managed to get them to drop the price (trade price acording to them) even though the pipe cost 20 quid from ford where i work :rolleyes:

it got sorted in the end though coz i gave the car a free service for what she went through going back and forth to tanvic for 2 days

so she got her money back in a way
