Just wondering why all of you chose fiestas? when there are so many similar cars for the same price or even cheaper?

for me its because the si's are cheap insurance for what they are, look good, and a good car to learn in, yet being a bit special compared with a paxo/106

I've always liked fiestas since I've been 16/17 & thought thats what car I want when I pass my driving test, even tho I like other MKs of the fiesta but 4 my 1st car I wanted a mk3 so thats what I got

I got my fiesta from some1 who woz selling it privately (spelling) in Chelmsford in Essex.

Love my lil car 2 bits

i wanted an xr2i, but couldnt afford the insurance, so was chuffed to find out they made a 1.6 16v with low insurance now i love everything to do with Si's

Those seats, those bumpers with expensive fogs, oh and of course the colour.

i used to hates fiesta's. then i drove one after writting my cav off and was very impressed, so i bought it. had that for 2 years(well i've still got it it's rotting away in my yard), then wanted another one, with a bigger engine and a mk3.5. then this Si came up for ?450 which i thought was cheap so i got it and loved it ever since

if i hadnt bought a Ford my Dad would've thrown me out of the house. I was going have an Escort, but spotted my other Fiesta. i was looking around in the papers and then bought my ghia, even tho i was looking at an Si, but i knew a lot less then. Wish I'd gone straight for the Si nevermind eh?

I'd never considered a Fiesta before, i wanted a Paxo before they were chav mobiles, but I was too young to drive at that time! 'doh.

right place(s) at the right time for me, with my first car (1.1 Fiesta) a mate of my dad owned a garage and had someone come in wanting to sell a fiesta, this was when i just started driving so was on the lookabout for a cheap car to buy and run, so bought it for ?650, sold it on a year later with more miles on the clock etc (and a Citroen AXGT spoiler sticking off the roof but thats a different story....), while i was owning this car i had a friend of mine ask me if i was after a Fiesta Si, i had already had a little knowledge of this car, i knew it was going to be a 1.4 or 1.6 so i asked for a little more information, found out the bloke who was selling it was moving to edinborough at the weekend or something, after a friend of mine had a word with this bloke he said he would sell it for ?20, too good a offer to turn down i thought so bought it, it had either one or two months tax on it (cant remember) so sent that back to the DVLA and reclaimed ?13.25 so in total got it for ?6.25, bargain or what!

you got an si for 6 quid!!!

i hadn't looked at fiesta's till i bought the one i've got now.

needed something to be around the 1.6 engine mark for the miles i was doing, didnt want a 1.1 that would scream all the way on the motorway and needed something to be reliable, when i seen the Si in the advert i thought "ohh, its nice, black, alloys, elec windows, PAS, airbag, few bits an bobs, seems to be quite a bit of car for the money". soon as i seen the car i loved it, didnt realise the Si came with the interior that it does and even questioned the seller as to if they were origional or aftermarket ones

had it just over a year, its not the fastest or best looking car around, but for the money, i dont think i'd have anything else
