Ok so everytime I hit a dip or come off ramp etc. the back wheels scrape. Car's lowered 40mm but it's a bit of a strange as it seems the tyres are hitting the lip of the arch, any way i can cure this keeping it lower? I'm fitting an XR/RS arch kit soon so don't fancy it torn off by scrubbing tyres :o

what wheels do u have mate? ive got dezent type f's and they sit in the arch a lot, i think its somthing to do with the offset, mines lowered 60mm and doesn't rub at all on the rear and hasn't even has the arches trimmed and ive got xr2i skirts and arches

hmm the ford offset wheels stick out a lot of the arches a lot futher than mine do, that the probably the prob mate :)

it's hitting the body pannel on the arch though, not the inside.

Well yeah, thats arch rolling, they bolt the kit to your drum and roll the lip off the outer arch, i had it done to my MK5 fiesta as it did the same, worked a treat :)

(must be done slowly to prevent the paint cracking)
