Basicly i'm thinking of buying my g/f an Ipod compatible headunit for Xmas.

Bearing in mind that the only expansion option is for the iPod then there aren't going to be masses of wires round the back, so hiding a iPod plug in port should be no problem round the back.
But just for tidyness and ease of access, I'd go down the glove box route.

The only problem with space comes when you have exansion boxes for TV, sat nav, engine diagnostics, about 5 billion amps, etc etc.

Had 3 Pioneer head units now, and would not go anywhere else. I guess you just get used to a particular brand.

Ooh, next time I see you Scott, I want you to have a go at setting up my audioscape right. I have no idea what half of the functions on my H/U do :lol:

you dont need to buy the vauxhall wiring loom as all that does is switch the memory wires arouns which are the red and yellow wires they are already bullet connected together on the wire you gey with the stereo all you have to do is take the red and yellow out and put the red wire into the yellow slot and vice versa hope this helps and saves money lol cheers scotty 8-)
