b oth positives go to one side of the cap and the other side is an earth, that go's to a good earth or the chassis

iv got one in mine its only to stop the lights dimming when u wack the volume up, but means ur parked up any way :look: u dont need ya lights on

Was going to say how efficient your amps are can make a difference too, good amps don't need them.

They really are a waste of money, invest it in better equipment in the first place and you shouldn't have too many issues. Could also be poor wiring in the system or car itself.

Personally I really don't think they look good either.
