Just had some clown from dog squad nearly destroy my car by no fault of mine. I was approaching a set of lights with a turning coming from the left where I anticipated going straight over the way the road goes. I was in the right lane for where I was going. I was doing a smidge over the limit, but tame for me and with a slipping clutch there's only so fast you can actually go in the damn thing! As I go through the yellow box, Captain Clown comes hammering round the corner with the blues and twos on in his Focus Esate. There was a point where I braced for impact, saying my farewells to my rear quarter.
Dog squad comes around me in the wrong lane and cuts me up. I've had enough by now and through the swearing I give him full licks of full beams and driving lamps
He carries on speeding off. Obviously the lights pissed him off :yar..ok..: He stops on the entrance to a busy bridge, on a bend (niiice) jumps out as I wind down the window ready to give him what-for! He started yelling at me saying 'why was i driving like that' to which I replied 'ME?! what about you driving like that!'. He said did I not see the blue flashing lights (note the lack of sirens). 'I can't see around corners you know!' I replied. He said I was speeding. I said no, i wasn't, but why were you driving so damn fast. Moaning ensues which him eventually finishing by saying 'you're lucky I'm on a responce..' So wait...he's on a response, but he has time to jump out and moan at me when he was at fault. I think a more likely cause was that he knew he was in the wrong, speeding through a red light, on a blind junction, in the wet. Mmm?
I saw him stopped a minute up the road. I failed to see the emergancy. It was just a car with two dudes standing around it.
I've seen it all before. I was waiting in Derby city centre, right in the centre where all the clubs are therefore drunk people everywhere, not looking. An Omega came flying around a 100degree bend, on a red light, when the rear slid out getting very close to a parked car
The fact that a police car and riot van are
always parked about a 20seconds walk away, why was the filth in such a rush?!
Traffic cops are normally advanced drivers with the proper training, but I'm unaware if the normal filth actually have to do jackshit in terms of additional driving training. If they do it doesn't show by this evening's driving clown.
