Hi im new to the site, i have a 3 door 1.6 si in dark mauve for my first car and was just trying to think of some ideas on how I could modify it? I have already brought some alloy wheels and lowering springs! What else could I do? Ice? Speed? Looks? How hard is the 2.0ltr conversion and does it make insurance go up a lot? Any advice wud be brill!!! Cheers Joey

Think the insurance group goes up to the same group that the engine is from, ie a 2.0 mondeo, i think, dont quote me though, its grp 9

Conversion is easy enough since you have the 1.6 base, ie wiring and engine mounts etc

Do a search about the forums here, pretty sure there is a guide, if not, google will sort you out dude!!

You def wanna 2.0 your Si, i think mine is great :insanity:

DIY = cheaper, if you got some mates in the knowhow its easy enough from the sounds of it..

price wise.. if your buying new bits as you do it, about £300 i was told (ish)
