Here is an update on my fezzi as it stands.

First off ive put on really long extended wheels studs and then added 1" wide spacers, they dont make that much diffrent because of the wheel offset but i can notice the diffrence and they dont look so far in now.

One hell of a diffrence in length dont ya think

and heres one to give an example of how thick the spacers are

anyway without

and heres with spacers

Like i said from he pics aswell you cant see a noticable diffrence but it just makes the wheels fit the arches nicer

Once we did this we striped down the old engine to take it out...dont ask why just wanted to...more fun i think :lol:

sadly cuz we were so fringin stressed from the crap that we had with fitting it we forgot to take pics...until the last minute basically we got it in...then realised the gearbox and clutch had gone...so we had to take the gearbox clutch driveshaft etc all out again

here a couple of pics with the new clutch and gearbox etc.

anyhow once all the car was back together bonnet on etc i started some cosmetic work.

smoothed the bonnet and getting ready for the respray, thats why the rear bumper looks how it does in those pics.

also more pics to come but have also got calipers silver now and rear drums silver. umm new rear lights (thank you masterz

) and to go one soon is a 2.0ltr thottle housing...helps with airflow ive been told. plus its a bigger bore so theoretically it should help

the colour on the bonnet is the colour the car is going
not much diffrence...just to get rid of metal flake and freshen it up abit.

only one thing id question is the effect spacers have on both handling and the wear effect on wheel bearings??

naaa...it hasnt effected handling in anyway...in theory it should help with wider wheel base...but there is no effect, also if it was dangerous then i wouldnt do it :lol:

...the bolts are longer but theres sod all extra pressure on them compared to standard...just gota make sure they are super tight

Well not really a huge update but still an update, i have now fitted a laguna splitter to my fezzi, cheers to beck_si and Adz of FT for the pics .
