ooh dear ive just realised my MOT is due on the 7th of november!

hope it doesnt fail on anything majour!

anyone got like a small check list to go over so i can have a quick look soon to see if i think anything will fail

(im quite good with the ol' DIY mechanics)

oooh... ive also removed the spare wheel tray but the hook is still there.. would it be ok to drill the hook rivets out and rivet a blanking plate over (with sealent inbetween)

Good luck, mines at the end of this Month, just need to get the brakes sorted and maybe some new tyres and she should be fine...

just give all bushes etc a check. have a poke around underneath see if its all still solid, might aswell give a coat of underseal while your there. check operation of all lights. check suspension is in good condition. check hand and foot brakes work correctly.

oh and give it oil change before. i've always found it helps with the emissions test.

Its never as bad as what u think its going to be.

I thought mine was going to fail on suspension, but went through fine.

will it fail on scrubbing? as it scrubs because of the 60mm drop

Depends where you go, mine rubs on full lock and was fine. Other places are abit tighter.

stick some 14 or 13 inch wheels with normal tyres on - top tip always keep wheels that come with the car and stick um in the shed :lol:

i'm lucky ive got 11 months mot left on my fiesta but i sold the original 14inch alloys, off to the scappy then to find sum wheels for the mot year then cause of the full lock rubbing with the 15's

nope 13" or 14" wont fit on over my brakes either :lol:

, i only seem to get rubbing on my arch liner so a quick fix 8-)
