Right this sunday im planning to change the carpet in my xr2i, i want to change the dash board aswell. The reason for me doing this is because at the moment my cars dash and carpet are grey and it looks horrible, especially since it has a FULL black/cream leather recaro interior including door cards,front and back seats and even the panels in the back. So because of this interior the grey REALLY sticks out. So just wondering how much of a big job is changing the carpet ?? Also the same question for the dash?

carpet is pretty simple, just remove the seats and it pretty much comes out. are you replacing it with a black one from another mk3 then?

The dash is abit of an arse, but as long as your ok at sorting wires, it isnt too bad. Are you thinking mk3 dash or mk4? MK4 would look good, but is a fair bit of work.

yeah i was gonna get black carpet and dash from an si. Yeah a mk4 would look good but i dont have the workmanship , or patience to carry such a job out! Replacing a mk3 will b enough of a test for me!! lol. :look:
