i did this apart from the 1.8 ecu all the throttle body did was make a bigger induction roar a called it a loud pedal :lol: i found on mine that i had to rev it to get any thing disent out ov it power wise

it would be good to c what the 1.8 ecu does to it though

i used the 1.8 head gaskit that was about it

well sod it then if u say uve done it ill give it a go.

the plan is 1.8 head
2.0 throttle body, inlet and maf sensor
1.8 ecu

it ran ok but i had to give it some to make it go fast if u get me but as i said before i think on this post i didnt have the 1.8 ecu
and it had a better top end torque than the 1.6 though, but i didnt prove it but i was judging it by the other si's i played with on the road

it made a loverly sound though but it was all show no go :lol: and it probs would ov been better if i had it chipped coz that should make it run good
