I'm thinking about selling my 2.0 Si with electric pack and sunroof.

The car has currently done 96k miles. The 2.0 engine was put in around 87k and had only done 37k miles from a Mk2 Mondeo.

It was all fitted by MMoGenius and PaulC who had done quite a few 2.0 conversions and MMoGenius commented on how sweetly the 2.0 ran.

It's just had a new clutch which is still under warranty, plus 2 new rear shocks. It has around 11 months MOT left and a K&N induction kit fitted along with 15" Escort GTI 5-spoke alloys.

Downsides - some rust on the inner lip of the rear drivers side wheel arch. The keys don't unlock/lock the passenger door properly or open the boot (you have to use the internal boot release button). Some dings and minor scratches down both sides, but other than that a good car that is very quick.

I wouldn't say a lot more than a 1600 Si after all the conversion is pretty cheap, it's only the effort you wouldnt have to provide. £1200?

id say if you can proove the mileage on the new engine etc then its worth that sort on money. good luck with the sale if you decide to sell,
