cossie wheels can be fitted but you have to completely butcher the arches or your car and run coilovers ask dr emmet brown on here about it

17's can and will fit but as said best doing arch mods if you can afford it anyway.

lowering your car further makes no difference on the size of your wheels unless they are physically tucked inside the arch.

what ever the wheel size it will still only go into the arch so far lowering just shortens the amount it will travel

for what wheels?

for cossie rims you need the front arches cut right back on both wings, inner liners removed, arch kit if you have one modified and cut back, plus all the edges treated so they dont rust

on the rears you again need the arches cut back on both inner and outer skins then re-welded together plus the arch kit modified again if you have one.
and again all the egdes treated

for 17's and 16's normally you need the arches rolling on the rear and maybe trimmed or rolled on the front

arch rolling can cost anywhere between ?25 and ?75 per arch depending on how much you want it rolled by.

cutting you can do yourself for free and just touch the edges up either by spraying or using hammerite if hidden

be aware for cossie wheels you WILL need coilovers ?500+ for them

and you may need spacers on any size wheels depending on offset

if you have to use big spacers longer studs will be required these can be soucred from a mondeo other options include hub spacers which ill again require longer bolts

right, so your runnin 205/40/16's with no arch work and its been lowered?

is it an Si, and did you change the suspension or just new springs?

just crappy gmax springs mate. bloke before me did the work, but i cant see any arch trimming or any spacers. im not 100% on tyre size
