tpft with tesco interest free gotta pay ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£175 a month i'm 19 years old and been driving for just under 2 years with no claims and no points living in a low risk area been on my old mans name for last 2 years so have decided its now best to start trying to get my no claims,its annoying but the mods have caused it to more than double in price

do 2lt engines look very different to the normal si engine? from the top i mean

on a completely differen note evey body who drops a 2ltr willy engine in their valver decides not to declair it as they look exactly the same

oh wait i suppose thoes 2 comments could be related

What are the consequences of driving without insurance?

If you drive without insurance you will get an IN10 conviction. The standard minimum punishment for this is 6 points and a ÃƒÆ’Ã¢â‚¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£180 fine.

However this can be increased to more severe measures including driving bans.

Driving without insurance is a serious conviction and will have an effect on your insurance premiums. For a young driver this will mean a vast increase in premium and often will result in insurers refusing cover.

With the new legislation regarding new drivers, an IN10 conviction may incur a ban and a forced retake of the driving test.

Better to declare your mods, and know when plod stops you that you are fully legal. I know that's what I'll be doing. Still I'm not a new driver who wants 'supercar' performance from my first car without letting my insurance company know. If you were involved in a crash and the other party claimed, the insurance company would be all over your car with a fine tooth comb looking for ANYTHING they can use against you so they didn't have to pay out. Then who would pay for a new car for Mr. Smith after you wrote his off. You would. End of story.

Definitely not worth the risk imho.
