My mate sold me his piperscross for £25 and altho i notice a little bit of acceleration i think thers alot of hot air geting in ther as its so close to a rad pipe. i think i need to get a cold air feed to it. I was thinkin of takin out one of the front fogs and feeding it up that way. think it would work and will the pipercross cool air feed be long enough for that? cheers

I reckon the ideal induction kit for any zetec engine would be one of those viper ones with a heatshield right around the cone filter, take out the battery and put it i the boot and sit the filter further to the right than usual, use a longer tube from the filter to the throttle body so the filters away from the heat of the engine and run a cold air feed up from the front bumper to the filter. I wouldn't like to do away with one of my fog lights though... maybe just cut a 2 inch circular hole in the bumper for the cold air feed instead
