Hey guys, it's probably been about 6 years since i was last on here. Hope you are all ok and doing well!
I've been a bit of a myth these last few years with my mental health, so my fiesta has been sat rotting away in a garage since late 2010. But you'll be pleased to know she's still kicking about. Some of you may hate me for saying this but the cars i've had since the fiesta have not been ford.
I had a corsa, e39, 306, zafira and currently have a volvo s60 (aircraft carrier; handles the same too) xD

If anyone remembers me come say hi, i hope to be on here more lately as i plan to get the fiesta mot'd, taxed and on the road hopefully this year!

Haha yeah she hasn't been made into a can of coke yet like most old fords. I wouldn't be suprised if it aint a classic yet, i think it has to be 25 years old... so 3 years to go lol.
Out of my other cars the 306 had to be the best, i miss it a lot! But the aux belt snapped and got caught around the crank so the cambelt skipped a few teeth, so that was the end of her. I will try and dig up some pics if i can remember what computer/phone they are on haha.

I'm glad some of you are still on here, keeping loyal guys! What car's do you lot have now then?

2.0 HDi with decat, mid box delete, stage 2 remap and stealth FMIC. Turbo was so loud! I really enjoyed it when white cars were too close behind me so i accidently dropped it down a gear or 2. #no smoke no poke

Yeah i must admit it does seem a bit dead tbf, last time i was on here there was atleast 10 new posts each day. Now it seems like my one is the only one in the last few days.

Oh well, good to hear you still have the Si, didn't realise you could get them any lighter! lol.. what did you do, remove the doors? haha

I'm quite tempted to cash in the volvo for a cheap 106 or something, as the DMF is going and will cost a minimum of £1200 to get done, also the front shocks have seen better days but at £400 a pair, i'd rather not. Nice motor but too costly and boring to drive for my liking, i will miss the seats though as they are the most comfortable seats you can possibly get in a car.

I visited my fiesta today, battery is healthy as i always leave it disconnected and charge it every few months, started straight up smooth as silk even though it's not been started in about a year. I think there is a exhaust leak coming from the front underneath as when i moved it, it had a slight farty rattle coming from there.

Also i'm pretty devistated because when i came back to her after letting her warm up for a little bit i noticed a neon green puddle in the drivers footwell. So the heater matrix has obviously shat itself :'(
Anyone know how easy are they to do?
Please don't tell me it's the same amount of a ballache as the 306 where you have to spend about 12 hours removing the dashboard.

I'm glad your Fiesta is still alive and ready for the road, stainlessmole!!! It's quite similar to mine! But the color is a bit different, your blue seems to be metallic, mine is solid blue (Ontario blue is the Ford name, i decoded the vin).

It seems not so hard to do, on the E30 is really a worse job, trust me.

The 306 is a nice car to drive, a friend of mine had an underpowered 1.4 but he had a lot of fun in it anyway.....now he as and horrible Civic MK8 1.4 16v......it's not just ugly as fuck outside and inside, it's even slow.


Here in Italy cars become historic automatically after 30 years, but after 20 they can become historic if you make them certificate by the historical car association. In fact i'll have to do the certification next days.....anyway i've been able to obtain historical insurance before the certification because the insurance agent trusts in me. Anyway i'll have to do the certification as soon as possible so i'll pay a reduced circulation tax. 30 euros instead of 207.....i think the certification worths

I still drive a ZS Although it hasn't had the attention is deserves recently. Been through lots of changes over the years from the Si's to the ZS's and a couple of cars in between but always come back to the Fiestas.

My friend had a 306 back in the day, not bad cars
