Yes still got the Focus, been working on developing the car past year. Runs with a fully forged , engine with headwork and cams, and external oil pump kit etcc..... . Had it live mapped at Sabre Tuning in Bristol and has 3 maps low medium and high, with a big HP figure of 422bhp and 407ftibs, goes well lol.

Still doing plenty track days, and went to Spa Francorchamps in Belgium last year with it, was mega, some good videos on You Tube chasing Porsches and E92 M3s

right so it's about time i got my finger out and updated this thread :D

sooo from the last update a few bits and bobs have happened

i bought a neptune connector for my engine loom

i modified a fiesta si throttle bracket to fit on my bodies

got my injection tank ready to be fitted

i popped out a plastic bung under the rear bench and fed the connect for the fuel pump under the car, the bung fitted perfectly into the now open hole

i then dropped my old tank

gave the battery tray area and support bars a lick of paint, fitted the rad (which leaks) and coolant hoses

ive got another fuel system to fit as well, so the system will be redone with quip fittings

Thought it was about time i updated this :lol:

The fez was sent off around January time to have my exhaust sorted out by a local company to me, i had a egt and wide band bosses welded into the manifold while it was there as well as a flexi pipe

while the fez was away getting the exhaust done i ordered up some an-10 fittings for my breather and rocker cover, i had my spare rocker cover sent off to be converted and the breather had the fittings welded on :thumbsup:

my airtec rad also arrived while the exhaust was getting finished off

ordered a new rocker gasket, some crackle paint and a an-10 converter for the rocker cover

got the fez back mid Jan from having the exhaust done

had a v-band added to the mid section to make removing it a bit easier

then moved onto fitting my snap off boss and wheel

ordered up some new brake hoses front (and rear)

wrapped the manifold too

fitted my airtec rad and the manifold back on too

test fitting/routing the breather hosing

sprayed the rocker cover and touched up the breather too

hooked up my throttle body balancing tool

alex and i had a minor tinker with the map to get it so i could drive it, check my ghetto gauge holder :lol:

i then found my my 1.1 mc/servo was completely shagged as no brake fluid was getting to the passenger side front or rear :lol:

sooooo out with the old 1.1 shizzle

then went onto the remove all the 1.1 brakes and fit my wilwoods

did all the prep work for my mot, emissions on a base map that we knocked up in a chicken shed :lol:

alex spent a few hours cleaning the fuel map up on the road, i sourced some bits to make a home made set of det cans and another friend sorted me out with a cable connected to my standard knock sensor so we could work on the ign side of things

sadly the car is so loud on full chat that you cant hear any det so we left the ign side of the mapping alone

in the mean time i ordered a set of harnesses

next steps for the fez over the winter

-fit my swirl pot and external pump
-run new fuel lines
-fit a fuel pressure and oil temp sensors so my ecu can see what's going on
-have the sump modified for a oil return for the breather and a oil temp take off
-replace rusty bonnet

that's about it for now
