So the recent drop in fuel is a good thing.
Ive just calculated that only a few months ago i was paying £1.47 for a Litre of Shell V-Power Diesel. Iam now paying £1.20. That means that it was costing me £89.67 per tank and now is costing £73.20, that's a saving of £16.47. I use about 2 full tanks a week so this should see me save about £130 a month.
Still should be less though.
A barrel of crude oil has dropped 57% since last summer but iam only seeing a 18% reduction to me at the pumps.
What pisses me off is, when oil goes up, the effect at the pump is almost immediate, when it goes down, it takes them weeks and months to feather it out to us the consumer.
What are peoples thoughts ?
