Hi all im new on here, just got hold of this lovely little SI and enjoying ownership so far the car has belonged to a couple of members on here i think they were will87 and Adz19 , these days its no show winner but it will shine again soon

anyway some piccys

2.0l 16v mondeo engine, 1.6 rs turbo gearbox dont know why it just does
lowered 35mm
polybushed all round
braided rear brake lines
uprated exhaust ( unsure of brand, terrible thing needs chucking in the bin )
rs turbo recaro seats in the front
fiesta ST150 front brake conversion
nasty wheels


so having a look round it it has many many issues which means many many fixes which means im now happy again

so first things first them wheels got chucked in the bin, all the tyres were bald and they were just horrible

so new ones going on

pics in dark ill grab some more tomorrow






also got me some new rear bearings the N/S/R wheel is hanging on by a thread lol

okay so update

first of all heres my knob


now we have that out of the way heres some progress

i still had the mats left over from my MK6 (paid £20 for these bad boys wasnt going to sell them with the car ) so i made them fit the MK3 with surprisingly good results



needs a hoover but we will get there shortly
next up the N/S/R wheel was hanging off ( no really it was) so changed the bearing
didnt get much pics but heres inside the drum

and new bearing on easy enough to change on these

and back on

next up here it is in the light

needs some correction but loving this colour


so decided to give it a thorough cleaning found many many dents but thats no bother lol





and the interior got a good clean up





and the engine got a quick spruce

Iv just bought my second si wich make my total mk3 fiesta count 4 lol had two base spec and two si's i looove them even thou my new one is a bit of a rotter but what can ya do! Haha

Good to see the old girl still going, loads of fun that! just a little fyi it did have a rs box in it when i got it but that pretty much blew up so had a standard si box put in, i think it's better anyway cause shorter ratios so quicker 0-60s
