Just got the sponge and bucket out to wash the car, got most of it washed, and started to do the lower bits, front bumper etc. Then WTF!! Something has smashed my drivers side foglight :( Still works, but the glass was all gone.

So now I'm £32 lighter, but I have a spanking new foglight :D Could be worse, could have happened on the way to FITP, just glad I noticed it. Its a good job I actually care, most people would leave it.

It doesn't suprise me though, I follow Leedale or Tarmac 4 axle tippers to work everyday, and they drop massive lumps of stone off the back every time they go over a bump.

Gutted, I noticed not long ago that one of my fogs is all cracked aswell :rolleyes: Think I seen an Si in a scrapyard not long ago though, so gonna go and see if that's still there :)

Could've been worse though Guy, someone could've actually hit your car and drove off, as they did mine :(

How gay, just got the foglight done, and now some penis f**king truck driver has thought:

"damn that fiesta behind me is sexy, have a face full of granite"

now my headlight lens is chipped. The thing is, the ship goes all the way through, and there are shards of glass on the inside of the headlight, so it's going to affect the light, and it needs sorting asap.

Ford don't keep Mk 4 headlight lenses in stock, so mum is kindly going to order one tmrw while Im at work, and hopefully *crosses everything * it'll be here for FITP so I can just swap a new lens over, simply *yeah right* 4 clips.

:D Well chuffed with Sandicliffe Ford. New lens arrived today, got all my lights and front grille off and within about 10 minutes, had a new near side light :D

I managed to get the rear of the headlights cleaned up too.

Now I have to dismantle the off side lamp, as the nearside one looks way too new, so time to clean the gasket and inside of the lens on the offside one to match :lol:

Will it ever end!!!!!!
