Ive been told several times on various different occasions to write a topic so here it goes.
Firstly i want to apologize to a few people that have been very stressed out over the past few months with us.
Scamp, Onslack and Sam. I know that the repetitive questions about the same thing do get annoying and I'm Sorry. But without you this project WOULDN'T of been possible so thank you for your patients throughout this project so far.
So here i go...
Noah is a 1.1 Mk3 fiesta. This little beauty was left to stand in a yard due to the 1.1 engine burning too much oil. and after meeting with the guys for the first time they gave us an idea to bring the fiesta back to life. Fortunately for us we didn't have to go searching around for the parts as they all came one way or another. Believe it or not Noah was in really good shape!
As one of our pals were scrapping there 2.0 fiesta we was fast enough to grab the parts out of that. And with that luck we nearly had everything we needed to start the project. A few months passed and we was yet to do anything. Everyone was telling us what to get and what we needed next. But due to being stubborn and lack of funds (Due to too many take-aways) we soon started to slack with the conversion.
There came a weekend where we was handed our own little garage that we could start the work in. and with that we organised a day for the engine to come out. (There was many people saying that it couldn't be done! but our trusty mechanic -scamp- ensured us it will work fine!)
i don't want to bore you with the nitty gritty stuff so ill update you to where we are today...
-Scamp has kindly taken the engine out-
-We have taken the Pas off and have brought a new fan belt that is waiting to be fit (today)
And the engine is ready to go in.
So let the fun begin?
