Go to zetecinside.com and look there, some good info. The bit I'm talking about is the guide to replace the plastic bushes in the linkage with bearings and tapped bars. Gets rid of 15 years of wear and tear.
There's quite a bit but I have got used to it.
Next problem is the exhaust is rattling off something so going to have a look tonight and try adjusting it.

I use a clutch alignment tool. Plastic thing you can but for under a tenner. Worth it's weight in gold though

Yeah i used it when fitting the clutch on mine but it was wank. Found it easier doing it by hand lol!

That's strange, did the coilovers sit ok on the rear, eg no movement where they were bolted in?

I'd use a heavy duty tape, maybe a foam as I imagine if there is a friction between metals that it will only wear through the tape. Just lube the fuck out of it, I know you have plenty of the stuff

Right, this is fucking shit!
My in laws are giving us their 2004 Civic as they've got a new car which means yet again the Fiesta has to go!
I'm fucking raging but what can I do? Its got fuck all miles on it, a years mot and new tyres. Fiesta is due mot in June and if I turn the Civic down sure as shit the fez will fail and I'll get the big I told you so!

Its a 1.6 VTEC I think, in a bluey grey colour. That's all I can remember about it.

Going to try and wangle keeping the fez till it costs me anything (ie mot time) then try and track it as knockhill isn't that far away.

Either way I'm certainly not going from here as its too much fun... Ah fuck, guess I'm just destined to not have the fez.

If anyone is interested in her let me know and I might sell her if its to someone here.

Not overly fussed about the fez just now. I have great plans to restore it but don't have:
Time
Money
Welder
Patience
To do it how I want it done. Combined with it being outside and the weather being shit it's not a good combo.
Will wait till the weather is a bit better then see why I can get done unless someone buys it first as I would rather someone had it and did the stuff I want to do than it sit with me and rot takes too much hold so it can't be fixed.

Heads not in a great place just now for a number of reasons so will wait and see.

On reflection the civic could be good fun, already been looking at type r bits in order to make it a nicer place to sit and drive. And then the usual brakes, wheels suspension upgrades. It's never going to be fast but really, the fez isn't all that fast if I'm honest. Nippy yes but fast no.

Sounds like my plans Paul. Just time, money and getting the bloody stuff! all with time.

You will just have to see what happens mate but fingers crossed it stays and gets treated like a god.
