Gays.

Will be saving for new driveshafts. Not happy with keeping my old ones (were at the wrong angle several times during the engine swap(accidently)) and the gators were full of dirt because they had been dropped in dirt. So whilst i save for them i will be sorting the wiring. hopefully.

In the meantime, i have ordered a new car cover as mine has ripped!

Louis only thing fabia has taken up is the amount of time I drive it! Powder coated wheels and thats it. Updates will be here in the next couple of months I hope so watch this space.

Evening.
Thought I best pull my finger out and get some stuff done on fifi. So the plan was to get the dash mounted and with most of the stuff connected up (Steering wheel, indicator stalks will be next weekend). Everything went to plan and found my battery is still alive luckily.


Sadly, some rain water got into the the speedometer. My dad, who was helping me lift the dash into place, thought he would try and replace the front to wipe it up. Turns out he broke it...

So if anyone has a replacement please pm me.

It may not look like much but this dash hasn't been fitted in almost 2 years. This was a big achievement for me and I feel a step closer to getting her running.

Hopefully get the rest of the interior fitted next weekend so it only leaves me with a few little bits to get finished.

I also need a bolt for the gear linkage. I've tried every bolt I have but none seem to fit so if somebody could me in the right direction that'd be great. Thanks.

Originally I had a zetec loom to replace the whole interior loom to make life easier. Turned out said loom was cut up to shit so I decided to mod my loom instead.
