Hi guys havent updated much lately on my si but in late september me, my fiancee and daughter went for a weeks holiday in the new forest the si didnt miss a beat but a journey which should only take 2.5 hours took 11 hours as we got stuck 30 mins on the m11 as a car with a trailer of cooking oil crashed and they had to resurface the road ended up being a hell of a journey
at the log cabin
yep bought a exodus (halfords) roof bars and a standard roof box so we could bring everything we needed with us like travel cot pram etc you never seen so much stuff in a fiesta
got 330 miles to a tank as well so done well
Recently had 4 new toyo proxes4's fitted to the car has made a improvement and replaced both electric window motors as the drivers side one died and passenger one was on last legs
Also had a petrol leak from the plastic petrol funnel so I replaced that with a spare I had in the garage a replaced the cap with a genuine ford one.
now the car has a slighly leak coming from both the gear linkage seal and driveshaft seals so going to book it in at a garage for next week hopefully
and having a few electrical issues with a bad earth somewhere which its had since I had the car painted in 2008 the battery light comes on when you press the window button and does it when front the wiper is on and slows in down so hopefully will get that done in the new year.
And on tuesday I gave the car a real good clean took the wheels off and cleaned inside them and cleaned the arches out of the salt, washed it and polished and waxed it
